HR Generalist

Dealership: Ciocca Automotive

Due to a recent promotion, we are seeking an HUR Generalist to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department.

Work Setting: Hybrid setting, possible travel to various locations as needed
Schedule: Monday-Friday; Daytime hours
Compensation: $65,000-$72,000 per year

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and track all ADA, LOA, FMLA, and NJ Disability requests
  • Process workers compensation injuries, first report of injury
  • Oversee ACA compliance and WOTC documentation
  • Support the benefits enrollment process for new hires, life events, and open enrollment periods, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits
  • Manage the submission of billing for all ancillary benefits
  • Coordinate and manage safety meetings
  • Support the coordination and tracking of compliance initiatives and employee training
  • Assist with other HR related tasks, including employment/salary verifications, termination/transfer process, reporting, scanning and file uploads

Qualifications/Skills include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required
  • A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in an HR setting required
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Paylocity is a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels
  • MUST project and maintain an extreme respect to company confidentiality
